Lastly, I will want to highlight that don't let any comments from other students affect the way you think about NCC. If they insult you or NCC, don't get into a fight with them as you both will be in trouble, inform an NCO or Sir or teacher as mentioned and let them handle it. These people who tease UGs or NCC are just attention-seekers and as such we should do the opposite by not giving them what they came for. And do get along well with the other UGs because if there were to be conflicts it would not help especially if other students come and add fuel to the fire it could cause a major conflict. If there is any conflict with other members, resolve it immediately and don't let any more stuff happen. This may sound cliched but it is the only one that i can think of " united we stand, divided we fall" as such we should all be united and work touwards our goals. Hm, I'm just here to highlight the important points of what SGT Francis mentioned in his previous post.
His post really makes sense i mean come on think about it, if you were to let something minor as punishments lead to a breakdown in communications and stuff, how would you be able to co-operate with each other when you all become NCOs and all. The whole BM NCC will be in chaos with cadets not turning up or playing a fool and the NCOs having their own conflicts to deal with. Seriously, don't let something as minor as punishments and stuff deter you from coming to NCC or other stuff. Like what he has mentioned, if you fail your test do you give up going to class and skip it? Of course not, you have to study hard to improve your grades and for those who come to NCC thinking for fun and games you are mistaken.
NCC is the stepping stone to prepare you for what lies ahead. It is not only fun and games, in NCC you wear the army no.4 full uniform provided by SAF. You are pretty much the same as SAF personnel and NSFs except you are from NCC and as such, the discipline and attitude and all the core values should be instilled in you. Fun and games come sure, but to have fun and games one must have discipline if not how to enjoy yourselves ?
Lastly i just wish to stress the importance of not letting any events in real life getting involved in NCC. If you do not wish to talk to this person, at least co-operate well with him in NCC. Don't think about yourselves only if you refuse to co-operate with that person, you are not only letting him down, but your platoon mates as well. And come on, would you like it if your friend got you all to be pumped because of a minor argument that doesn't concern NCC? I'm not saying that you should blame each other but don't bring in personal grudges and stuff. If you really cannot work with the person, inform the sir or NCOs or even teachers and they will do their utmost to help you out.
So let's not forget about what occurred on 22/8/07 but don't dwell on it. Use it as a reminder of what has happened and work harder to prevent it from occurring again. Hopefully, nothing similar will happen again and BM NCC will be united.Labels: Fequently Given Answers, Posts

For those people out there, what do you actually think of NCC?
I know some people hate them because of the harsh training and all, but is that really an excuse? I tell you guys, That kind of excuse is like a small pea in my little finger to me, that's the lamest reason I've heard, EVER!
Why?
Well ask yourself, If your studies ever gets too hard, do you stop going to school? I tell you guys, its all the same lame excuse of not joining a uniform group, "Don't join lah, training so though", "Walauwe make small mistake also punish..."
So are you guys saying if your studies is too hard, you won't study for it?
Do you not deserve to be punished for a stupid mistake you should not have not done?
Think about these, think about your future.
You think you can go far by complaining all day long? What? you say you want to be a lawyer? You think lawyer is all about talking? HaHA I'm laughing my ass off dude, you can't use vulgar in the court, why did i say that, well because using vulgar is a sign of loosing a battle of debates, battle of the mouth. Using vulgar means that you are nervous, you have nothing else on your mind to speak of... You have lost the last grasp of speech in your mind
Yes, we might use vulgar in our everyday speech, but that is two totally different things altogether...
And for those who have a change of heart in NCC, I'm just here to tell you guys that NCC and real life is 2 different things, if you let personal grudges in the real life get into NCC, then you are no more than an unsuccessful cadet who can't different shade the meaning of NCC and real life, you can't switch between the two worlds...
And for those cadets who THINKS the have sacrificed much for NCC, think about what have you done, does it deserve the praises? Did the NCO's did some way of showing their gratitude even though they did not even say thanks?
You think coming and getting marked the attendance record is good enough? NO! you people need to contribute. Come for the trainings, and at least do your best. Be serious, as the saying goes Discipline before fun.
Another word for cadets. If you are unhappy by the act of some NCO's or CLT's, do voice them out, if not, we are unable to improve the situation in NCC.
And those who at least bother to come for training and not making things worst than it already is, I humbly thank you in behalf of the NCO's

Hi well just my thoughts on today's PDS training. Heh, it wasn't that bad but it could have improved but the good thing is that we managed to learn all 19 drills. I remember first seeing Farel do all the drills and thinking that it would be very difficult to memorise them and later when we tried it, it was hard to memorise but soon we got used to the drills and learning the new drills today wasn't that difficult in fact it was quite easy =). Our performance for fazul will be nxt nxt wednesday so yea please remember that we have to practice and practice and memorise the drills involved. We will be practicing it again this wednesday after the training ends and do remember the drills for we have to teach the Part As the drills as well. That's all Labels: Posts, Schedules

Ah, real sad to see our rifles go. We got used to the weight and stuff, I will miss the rifle pt ah well life has to go on =). Haha cannot wait for wednesday's training but I may be late... As one of the contributers of this blog and Creator of the BM NCC friendster, I need the cooperation of all cadets and NCO's in the next training, I need all their e-mail, Friendster or whatever they have, and if they do not have a friendster accountt or unable to make one, ask them to create a bloggers account, so if possible, I hope that anyone that have read the Post in friendster, and, is or are a contributer of this blog, Copy and paste it here.

To most of them, its their first experience..
All of them felt an adrenaline rush throughout the day sia..
